Most cruise liners dock at Pointe Seraphine in Castries on the island of St Lucia, conveniently placed for the centre of town. Passengers who wish to shop have many duty free boutiques right on the doorstep at Pointe Seraphine, with other facilities at Castries located on William Peter Blvd, and Bridge Street with china, jewelry and crystal good things to buy.

A guided tour of the island of St Lucia is sure to include a trip to Soufrere, to experience the fabulous views and visit the world’s only ‘drive in’ volcano, Sulphur Springs. Passengers are also recommended a trip to Diamond Botanical Gardens, Morne Coubaril Estate – a working plantation, as well as reconstructured 16th century Arawak Village.
No trip to St Lucia would be complete without experiencing some ‘down time’ on one of the islands many beaches – Pigeon State Beach is one of the easiest to access from the port.
