The port of Skagway, Alaska is the furthest north of all North American deep sea ice-free ports.
Passengers on an Alaskan cruise are sure to certain to alight here at some point, and have many options for shore excursions. Skagway itself is just a short walk away and visitors can either take a look around individually or take a guided tour of the area – a tour is sure to include the Trail of ’98 Museum, Gold Rush Cemetery, and a view of Skagway from high up lookout points in the surrounding mountainside.
