The Sapphire Princess cruise ship is the naval jewelry of the princess Cruises company. The ship entered service relatively recent, in 2004. It is considered to be one of the largest ships, being a sixth Grand Class cruise liner. It was christened n 2004 and can accommodate more than 2700 passengers. The ship has 740 staterooms, all of them having balconies. So, the guests are able to look outside and be amazed by the wonderful ocean views.
The cruise ship is usually seen traveling in the Alaskan region in the May-September period. In the rest of the months, the Sapphire Princess travels near the American Pacific coast.
As facilities, the cruise ship has spacious, clean pools, along with interesting shops and boutiques. On the deck it is has been built a Lotus Spa, where the guests are able to relax and take advantage of all the comfort. There are specialty restaurants, where people can enjoy a pizza, some burgers or formal dining.
