The Queen Elizabeth owned and operated by Cunard is a very new cruise ship that will launch in fall 2010 from her home port in Southampton and will cruise to Mediterranean and Caribbean. This is the second cruise ship owned by Cunard that has that name and this cruise ship will have all the elegance of before with the modern charm that you would be looking for. The Queen Elizabeth will be able to have a passenger capacity of 2,092 with 1,046 cabins, with the majority of those having an outdoor view.
Her Grand Lobby, which is three decks high, with marble floor, chandeliers with an art deco feel.
Named after the original bar on the first Queen Elizabeth the Midships Bar is on Deck 3 and has 1930’s artwork and piano. Like on the Queen Elizabeth 2, this cruise ship will also have a Yacht Club with ocean views. Also on board, a library, theatre, arcade, garden lounge and games deck has paddle tennis, bowls and croquet.
