Build by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, Norwegian Gem is the newest ship in the list of NCL which was launched in 2006 and comes under the Jewel Class.
It gives the guests to be at their own and choosing their own timings with any kind of dress code and dine at the various venues inside the vessel. She resembles Norwegian Pearl with the similarity in interior and exterior designs. Hot tubs with slides, a gym, four lane bowling alley, are few good amenities it has.
Norwegian Gem has its own complex with courtyard villas and garden villas with private pool deck. 11 bars and lounges can be found which are scattered on the ship with 12 fine dine restaurants. The staterooms and suites are not very big but spacious. The numbers of guests allowed to stay on board is around 2,400 with 1154 crew members to serve them.
