Cruise liners dock at Piers 10 and 11, which are right next door to Aloha Tower Marketplace. Passengers can off the ship and spend some time shopping here, or explore the other attractions in the harbour including Aloha Tower - the highest building in Honolulu when built in 1926.
From the top floor passengers can take in spectacular views over the harbour. Some cruise passengers opt for a cruise around the coast of Waikiki during a trip from their cruise liner, where, at certain times of year there is the opportunity to catch sight of humpback whales.
Visitors on a cruise can take a shuttle into town to see the various attractions on offer in the centre and should head for Chinatown, the Foster Botanical Garden, the Hawaii State Art Museum and take a tour of the Hawaii Theatre built in 1922.
