Dublin shore excursions

Dublin Port is a very convenient dropping off point for cruise passengers wishing to take in an excursion of Dublin city, since it is just minutes away via taxi or bus – or passengers can take the shuttle service.

Dublin is the capital city of Ireland yet it is compact enough for passengers to take in the main attractions on foot.

Alternatively many buses run open top tours or – for something completely different - horse drawn carriages can be hired.

However you choose to see the sites make sure to visit Trinity College and the famous Book of Kells, The National Art Gallery of Ireland and the National Museum of Ireland, as well as the Guinness Storehouse which tells the history of this national drink and provides visitors with a few samples.

Shopping on Grafton Street is recommended as is a trip to lively Temple Bar for a drink or a meal.
