Cruise ships dock at Table Bay Harbour, Duncan Dock or Jetty 2. Passengers can head to the city centre – a journey of only ten minutes, or stay for a look around the Victoria and Albert Waterfront complex which is within easy walking distance and one of the best places to enjoy the excellent Cape Town restaurants.

Cape Town’s city centre is known as the City Bowl and it is so compact it can be explored on foot. Sights to see include ‘the Castle’ – one of the oldest surviving buildings in South Africa, built around 1666.
The Greentown area hosts an excellent flea market – highly popular with tourists and locals alike.
Cape Town can also be viewed from the top of an open top bus tour starting at the Waterfront and taking in Table Mountain and Camps Bay. A cable car runs up to the top of Table Mountain.

Trips can also be taken to Robben Island the outpost which incarcerated Nelson Mandela for more than 20 years.
if the weather is good then the beaches have great surf and close to the Cruise Terminal.
