The first of MSC Cruises ships named outside of Italy, the Poesia was named by Sophia Loren in the Port of Dover, Kent on April 5, 2008. MSC Fantasia replaced her as the flagship of MSC Cruises in late 2008. With a crew of 987 and a passenger capacity of 3,605 over 13 passenger decks, she has 13 elevators as well. Her main dock is in Ft. Lauderdale and she cruises the Caribbean. On board you will find 2 swimming pools, 4 whirlpools, shuffleboard, tennis and basketball courts, mini golf, a jogging track, as well as a beauty salon, gymnasium with ocean views and workout equipment.

In the foyer, you will find a breath-taking waterfall with bridges. You can watch a movie poolside on the huge movie screen, under the stars.

There is a mini club program that offers activities for children from 3 to 13, there is a dedicated children’s facility for the younger passengers.  On Deck 14 there is an indoor and outdoor play area with slides and mazes as well as their own pool to splash about in.
