Originally launched in 1998, Carnival Paradise is the last of eight Carnival Cruise Lines’ Fantasy ships. Completely non-smoking, Paradise was the first cruise ship ever built with that in mind. However, in 2003, seeing that non-smokers tend to gamble and drink less than those who smoke, Carnival decided to loosen its non-smoking rules. With that in mind she still has the strictest smoking policies in the fleet. Carnival Paradise cruises from the Port of Long Beach, CA to Baja, Mexico.
There are two options for dinner in the main dining rooms, traditional or Carnival’s “Your Choice Dining” program. There’s a pool slide that is three decks high that makes it perfect fun for any age.
There are kids and teen areas that provide the perfect entertainment for the younger passengers in your group from 12-17. There is also an adult only retreat that has a spectacular ocean view, two hot tubs and plenty of room to just relax.
