Discovery Cruise Lines owns and operates this 11,979 ton ship that comfortably accommodates 1,000 guests.
Discovery conducts daily cruises to the Bahamas and many of its cruise packages permit guests to leave the ship and stay at a resort hotel in Freeport for two or three days. Life on board the ship, even though the cruise lasts only one day, is fun for all guests.
There is a restaurant and a buffet … an outdoor pool and a sun deck … a casino … and nightly games of jackpot bingo. Discovery also offers live entertainment, has a nightclub and a disco. Activities for kids are available and there is a Video Arcade that is fun for “kids” of all ages. Duty-free shopping is also available. There are conference facilities for those on “working vacations.”
