This “ship with a history” was known as the Stockholm when it collided with the Andrea Doria in New York harbor in 1956. Today, after being refitted in 2004, it is owned and operated by Classic International Cruises and serves a mostly-British clientele on cruises to a variety of interesting ports of call.
The ship’s signature cruise package is a 6-week “World Tour” that includes stops in Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Jordan, Oman, Egypt, Cyprus, Malta, Italy, France, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
There is a Northern Europe package that reaches such ports of call as Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia and a Southern Europe package that features stopovers in Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands.
A Fitness Center & Sauna are available to pamper guests while on board. There is also a casino, a nightclub, a library, a card room and live entertainment available nightly plus a variety fine dining choices.
