Once known as the Royal Princess, the Artemis, which is owned and operated by P&O Cruise Lines, is a mid-sized 45,000 ton ship that serves up to 1,260 passengers, none of whom are children.
In fact, this adults-only cruise liner caters to middle-aged British tourists on voyages that include such ports of call as the Amazon Cruise (Brazil, Tobago, St. Lucia and Barbados), the Panama Canal Cruise (Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico) and the Mediterranean Cruise (Spain, France, Greece, Turkey and Gibraltar).
On board, guests enjoy access to a Fitness Center & Sauna, two pools and two Jacuzzis, nightly live entertainment, a cinema featuring current hit movies, a library and the ship’s most enjoyable attraction, a casino.
Fine dining is available in a variety of restaurants and cafes. Several pubs and bars are also available to provide for ship board relaxation.
